Ever since Jan. 30, when Tatum first got asked about being dragged into Davis trade rumors, Tatum has played like someone with extra motivation. Over Boston's last eight games, Tatum is averaging 18.3 points per game on 48.2 percent shooting while adding 7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game. Tatum is plus-54 in plus/minus in that span (second best on the team, trailing only Gordon Hayward at plus-86).

There has been a clear positive trajectory with Hayward performance the past couple months. Very good signs for our playoff hopess

Hayward is really playing well in all facets right now---took months to get the bounce in his legs...still has a ways to go--rest of the season should be fun.

I have been amazed how people here were trashing Hayward.

He has been playing well.

as if it was his fault he was injured

The mere fact that he is still playing basketball is an achievement

There are players that never return or are extreme shells of themselves.

Won't mean a thing unless we get him back to at least 80% and this team continues to mesh going forward.

He's was playing his best basketball heading into the all star break.  Now he's had a week to rest while he should be feeling good about himself.  I suspect that will help him in this second half of the season.

Not that I agree with trashing Hayward at all, but that's what he had become. Evan Turner. And that's why some were outraged and even bringing his wife into the discussion...

Very glad he's back. Hopefully he continues to shut everyone up.

I don't think there's any justification for bringing his family into it, regardless of how he was playing. Those posters that said those things should be genuinely ashamed of themselves

Is it just me or people learned quicker how to spell Antetokounmpo than Hayward?

I would say Haywood is the most common (I blame this mostly on Brendan Haywood)...it is a bit strange since he was such a major FA signing for us and a legit All-Star in his prime before the injury. Oh well, as long as he plays well, it doesn't much matter how people spell his name.  :D

I guess some people figured snapping his ankle and dislocating it was no big deal, it's like an ankle sprain...mind over matter! He should be able to go back to All Star form immediately and why wasn't he 120% at the start of the season when Paul George had even less time off?  ::)
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Not to mention he had a second surgery and his wife had a baby, so he is probably not getting any sleep.
