5-3 and no score....

Because - you guessed it - we took a less-than-ideal three pointer, though admittedly it's more about *who* took the shot.

Shooters like Kyrie, Gordon, Morris, or Tatum are fine taking those types of fastbreak threes, but that's not the type of shot Brown should be taking.

That is exactly the shot brown should be taking. Its a good shot.

Nope. Brown is a set three point shooter. His three point percentage was higher last year because he took more corner threes.

Ya, literally everybodies percentage is higher form the corner. And if you only look at above the break shots brown would still be above average from 3 last year. Also, Morris is a 36% 3 pnt shooter on his career, he is hot this year but if you argument is Brown is a set shooter than so is Morris. Or Tatum for that matter who lived on set shots last year.

Morris' career three point percentage has nothing to do with it; it has everything to do with the type of shot that is. Kyrie, Morris, Tatum, etc. all regularly shoot off the pull-up like that, either off the dribble or off the fastbreak pull-up. Brown simply isn't that type of shooter. He'll shoot some like that, sure, but he's much more effective as a set shooter because he's not the natural shooting type like the others.

I mean, it's no coincidence that he bricked that fastbreak pull-up wing three and a few possessions later nailed the corner three off of the pass lol

Actually, thats exactly what is is. Its called sample size. And I'm sorry, I'll take the better career shooter in that situation all the time. Tatum and Morris are not better options to shoot that, but for the record all three should take it. And they will.

In my opinion, worse than the Magic loss.

I didn't feel like we deserved that game anyway.  Lots of poor play and poor stretches.

You can disagree with this statement, but this is the NBA today.

Like i said, 3rd best team in East and I doubt Hayward will ever be the player he once was
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Pretty fun game.

They made one more play tonight.  Props to Oladipo for the gamewinner.

that was a painful loss.  first off, don't let VO get that shot off, take a foul on him at least we don't lose.

then a horrible possession and we don't even get a shot off at the end.

ugggg

Frustrating loss. Hate that play call, especially with as long and athletic as this Pacers team is and how many deflections they get. Terrible pass by Hayward, too.
