Bynum's expression in this photo kinda sums up how I feel about this pick....LOL

About freaking time. I would have taken him over every PG chosen today.

Eh, if you don't need/want an efficient volume scorer/creator at that position, then he doesn't really provide any other use.  I think he fits this team nicely to provide that role.

The last two pics had significant flaws, but both could really play.

Heh, that's fair. He definitely had his flaws. But he was a beastly low-post scorer who could protect the rim and rebound with the best in the league. I also like him as a partner for D-Will

I think that IT has the same problem that Grant Hill potential he has, depending on how evaluators view things.  He was great pet season, but in the second half of the year he struggles with his hip, and it got so bad that he could not proceed in the playoffs. In fact, it essentially ended his career as a star player.

But, I love the dude.  MVP-level player for that one season.

IT as a backup PG being able to distribute and score efficiently is an amazing weapon. I really don't see his defense, his only real flaw, being all that much worse, if at all worse in a couple of cases, than guys like Arenas, Iverson, Nash, Kyrie and Lillard.

His hip bothering him barely affected his play, if at all, the second half of that year and didn't really affect his playoffs until the end of the Washington series.

Strongly disagree with his defense compared to those guys. With the exception of Iverson he's 6 inches shorter than everyone else on that list. No matter how much IT locks in on defense, there's no escaping those physical limitations.

If you play bad defense, it really doesn't matter how tall you are. Bad defense is bad defense.

Going with John Wall as my 2nd PG with the 12th pick of the 8th round

Floor general and a big defensive PG for the 2nd unit.
