  • 36 charges and counting..
straight up without any other considerations

I can think of at least 20 players just off the top of my head
Off the top of my head:

PGs
Chris Paul
Deron Williams

SG
Wade
Bryant
Roy

SF
Carmello
LeBron
Durant

PF
Dirk
Duncan
Gasol
Bosh
(Maybe Kevin Love this team needs rebounding!)

C
Howard
Yao

I wouldn't trade him for half those guys.  Is Kevin Love's name really on that list??

Yes it looks like it.  We need rebounding..
Little Fockers 1.5/10
Gulliver's Travels 1/10
Grown Ups -20/10
Tron Legacy 6.5/10

We also need a competent point guard, and Rondo just so happens to be one of the best rebounding point guards in the game.  It's a lot easier to find a rebounder than it is to find someone with Rondo's skill set.

To be honest - Michael Jordan.

But seriously I honestly believe we have a once in a lifetime type player in Rondo. He is the product of Doc's, Pierce, KG and Ray's tutelage, IMO.

He is going to go down in history as one of the Great Ones. That is why I wouldn't trade him for any players out there right now.

LOL!

And I know that at least a few of us were thinking this way (Once in a Lifetime player) during our playoff run.

So why would this be insanity?

I've heard too many people say they wouldn't trade Rondo for Chris Paul... Personally, I think if anyone believes that, they're kidding themselves.  Rondo is close, but not on the level of the Chris Pauls and Deron Williams of the league.

If you think he's close to their level, and you also think that he's still improving as a player (more than Williams or Paul) then it's not that far-fetched.

PG- Chris Paul, D. Williams, Derrick Rose, and Steph curry.
SG- Kobe, or Wade
SF- Durantula, Melo, or Lebron
PF- Dirk, Pau
C- Dwight Howard or Brook Lopez

If Rondo finally fix's his J (he may never will). Short list 4 players: D. Williams, Wade, Lebron, and Durant.

My list did include a lot of older players I was honestly thinking for one season with the current C's supporting cast.

This is hilarious. Steph Curry? You would trade a once in a liftime pt guard for a shooter? The Kevin Love request is even more over the top. Rondo is just starting his career and you want to trade him for a couple 30 somethings (Kobe/Dirk)?? Only guy I would trade Rondo for would be Durant. Dwight Howard? Yeah he has a great offensive game..

You guys watch Rondo every game without apparently realizing what type of player he is.

My Question is - if we got Dirk or Pau in a trade for Rondo, what does that do for KG?

Do we sit KG?
