John Salmons to get traded before the deadline

According to KC Johnson's twitter  :

Bulls management has told Salmons to remain at team hotel as it works to finalize a trade. Won't play vs. Knicks.

Obviously, we don't know if the trade will get done and where he will be headed if it works, but what is your guess?

Salmons, Hinrich, and Ty Thomas for Ray Allen works in the trade checker.

If Houston is no longer interested in dealing McGrady to the Bulls, maybe Chicago looks to Ainge to help free up payroll.

Lucky, I'm hoping you're right...love to see that go down. I fear it might be with the Magic, though, in that there had been talk between the Bulls and them before involving Reddick. Hope not.

I'm still not sold on Salmons/Hinrich being able to replace Ray adequately...

Tyrus Thomas would be huge for us though.

Someone on the Magic RealGM board said it was a 2 for one with Salmons being the best player, but both players could help the Bulls. TA and Scalabrine work in the trade checker.

That would be quite a bad trade for us.

I see it as a "quarter for two dimes and a nickel" type of thing.  We've already got plenty of dimes; if we trade Ray, we need impact players, not depth.

I would be interested in either Hinrich or Salmons for other expiring contracts, although I can't see that happening if the Robinson trade happens.
