Give the Knicks franchise hope over Jordan Hill? Doesn't Morey bleed any green any more? There will be a lot of unhappy owners and GMs if he does this deal.

Do LeBron/Bosh take slightly less to go to Ny together?

Nope...do you honestly believe LeBron is going to take a paycut, heading into the prime of his career?

I'll be glad if McGrady goes to NY.  Less competition for Ray's expiring has to make Ray's contract look better.  That's the hope, anyway.

Not if the Cavs get Amare and then win the championship.

Nah, it's starting to sink in now and I'm not buying it.

The Rockets aren't giving up their cap flexibility for Jordan Hill. He isn't good enough for them to sacrifice that large of an opportunity.

The Rockets are picking up some youth and picks and going all in for 2011 when both Ming and Jeffries are off the books.

Nope...do you honestly believe LeBron is going to take a paycut, heading into the prime of his career?

He'd recoup any lost pay in all sorts of advertising deals.

LeBron in NYC = mad money.

Why would Chris Bosh accept a secondary role just to play with LeCrab dribble?? Bosh might be the best BigMan in the game right now. And it a matter of time before he is considered for MVP's. LeCrab Dribble will steal his thunder if Bosh goes to the same team. LeCrab Dribble tried his best to steal the MVP from D-Wade at ASG, but he FAILED!!!!

Maybe Celtics can land Bosh. You can always dream, Right?

If they play together, and I think they might, being buddies and all, I predict it will be in Miami due to not having income taxes.  LeBra is already an endorsement stud, and doesn't need NY for that.

I don't want Bosh, I'd rather LeBest-Player-in-the-world

If you were Bosh, would you rather A) be a 24-12 big man in his prime playing for a 48-win team losing in the first round of the playoffs for 6 years in a row, possibly making an HOF spot or B) be a 20-12 big man as a second option winning 6 titles in a row and cement your place in the Hall of Fame?

Ray Allen came off the best year in his career (26.4 ppg) to come to Boston to be third option just to win ONE title (or max three). I'm sure Bosh is fine with 2nd option for 6.

Sure. With all the ad money he is making, the $1 or $2 Million of max money he gives up will be a drop in the bucket. Tiger has already reached the billionare-athlete plateau anyway (or was that scuppered by the dropped endorsement deals following the recent scandal), so that part of LBJ's motivation won't be that strong though. Winning a title will be though. It was in the news (ESPN I think) that Lebron or DWade was talking about how the two of them had got together with Bosh during the Olympics and discussed taking less money to all be on the same team.

I can't find the article just now, I'll post the link later.

Shoot, with the internet, he could be in French Lick and earn all the money he desires.

BTW sorry for the double post

guys in their 20's don't pass up money...  guys in their 30's do, but these are LeBron's money making years that he'll never get back.  Sorry, but i don't buy the myth that he'll give back money and then subsidize it through marketing...  he will have a LOT of people telling him not to do that...
