The funny thing is that Hayward would be looked at as the linchpin in such a scenario, lol - even though the dude is as close to being Utah GH as I've seen.

I disagree.  Even with the best Celtics not playing the last two weeks, they are tied for the best record for this stretch. .

I'm hugely impressed with Wanamaker's play lately. Zero turnovers and zero times biting on an opponent's pump fake in the past 2 weeks, all while being tied for the team lead in minutes. That's huge for us

Yep, he's taken the right steps. Can't believe I'm saying it, but credit to Poirier. Just as good as those two also

Clearly Ainge has to give him a max contract.

I will defend Stevens and say the kids absolutely deserved it while the Celtics did not need a timeout. Their opponents have not scored in 2 weeks, there's no reason to waste a perfectly good timeout that you can use on your kids instead.
