I say we all boycott the whole organisation for the rest of the decade. Who's with me?

These last 2 games just pised away everything gained on the west coast road trip.

Zero urgency from guys playing like they already have a high playoff seed locked up.

Terrible loss, but for everyone who thinks we should be fighting tooth and nail with banged-up players on the front end of a back-to-back to get a W over the nets with the 2nd/3rd seed almost guaranteed, not sure what you think we’ll get out of that. This was an epic meltdown and we can erase it tomorrow with a W. But count me in the camp who thinks that we would be better off 100% healthy with the 6-seed than 50% healthy and the 2-seed.... go .500 in this stretch, rest guys, I honestly don’t care. Playoffs seeding won’t matter if we’re banged up going in. Forget it.

Should've had to fight tooth and nail. Had a 21-point lead in the third quarter and straight-up crapped the bed. Should've been a relatively easy W, instead it's an L they can't get back.

also speaks volumes about the team's attitude towards winning games -- not as important as 'load management' apparently

Why load management for Romeo and TIMELORD?
load management for the 'star' players on the team.  none of our top 5 players available in OT

You need defense and you sit Romeo 7 minutes and TIMELORD 10 minutes.... MAKES NO SENSE>>>>

R Williams was on a minutes restriction.  That decision comes from the doctors, not the coach.

I will not, however, defend the decision to play Edwards over Langford.  No idea why we chose to do that.

Well the TIMELORD thing makes sense but Edwards over Langford when you needed defense makes no sense....

I don't think the Timelord decision makes any sense either. He only played 10 minutes. If that is legitimately his minutes limit, then he probably shouldn't be playing at all yet.

Smart will be suspended. 100%

Get ready for a lot of Wanamaker next game. Likely no Smart/Brown/Hayward/Kemba.

That does seem like a ridiculously low amount of minutes...

He doesn’t care about seedings and never has.

The funniest thing about this is that he's gonna do whatever he can to get the team healthy, prioritizing that over everything else (including seeding) ... and the team STILL won't ever be healthy.

After the first 7, the Celtics have a G League roster.  But I blame Danny for not finding some veteran minimum guys to fill out the rotation.  You've got the 5 starters + Smart.  You can't really trust anyone after that in a big game. Kanter can contribute offensively, but kills you defensively. The rest can defend but can't score at all.

To me it's unconscionable that Ainge couldn't find them some help.  They're going to hope that their top 6 and the longer breaks between games in the playoffs will be enough to get them through.  I'm guessing it won't.

Eh, he gave them some choice words that they were likely deserving of (except the last foul - that was definitely a foul), but the whole "Smart was restrained" report is blowing it out of proportion. Just watching it he wasn't going after the refs like they were claiming. I think he'll be fined but not suspended.
