I slept fine - I passed out around 4AM after draining a bottle of Crown. That was the only way I was gonna sleep. Just watched Military and History Channels to get my mind somewhere else.

What would make up for this is to be full strength next season and sweep James out of the playoffs  on our way to Banner 18. That would do just fine.

That's a plan I can get behind. Watching him get whooped these Finals (hopefully by the Rockets, but beggars can't be choosers) would be awesome

Nothing. I'm getting over the loss, can't believe how well we did this year and am looking forward to next year.

Nothing, the vets let us down when we could compete for a title in the finals by missing open threes in crunch time.

Personally, I woke up at 3 AM...still sick to my stomach at the loss...the table was set, only to have our chair pulled away at the last second.

*sigh*

But today, I started thinking about where we were last year this time.  What was our main questions at that time?  Would IT be ready for the opener?  How will Fultz fit in with this team?

Then all the changes occurred in the roller coaster off season!

We have Kyrie OMG' Irving!  We wanted a Top 20...here's your sign, as Bill Engvall says! :)

We have Gordon Hayward!  Another Top player!

Fultz who?

Tatum and Brown could be our Dynamic Duo for a decade or more!

Terry became Scary good...can he continue to improve or will he possibly help us land another important piece of the puzzle?

Thinking about those things helped ease the pain.  Knowing how much Wyc HATES to not win championships, and how Danny has been able to spot diamonds in the rough makes this offseason something to get excited about also!

What will make up for the loss?  Good health, good decisions by management, good draft pick(s), and lastly, a good butt whooping on the Cavs by whoever...just for the heck of it! :)
