Celtics center Luke Kornet suffered an ankle sprain in practice this week and will miss one-to-two weeks, sources tell me and @Shams Charania

Kornet is a stiff. Wish Brad would cut him.

Sometimes you’ve just got to laugh.

Time for Kabengele to seize his moment.

I'm sorry, but this made me laugh. I don't wish an injury to anyone, but homeboy couldn't last a week of practice as the starter.

I just don't find injuries to be funny.

There is a sentiment that because a guy is white and tall he can't play.
That's been around forever.

There's also a sentiment that because a guy can't play he can't play.  Shrug.

He’s a brass player, not a wind player.

Jokes aside, I do feel bad on a personal level for Kornet.  These next two weeks are probably his last, best chance at earning an NBA rotation spot, and he rolls an ankle.  That’s got to be hard.

Didn't surprise me. Guy is big and probably never played this hard in his life.

Is there a silver lining here with more minutes available in the frontcourt?  Maybe Blake finds the fountain-of-youth, maybe Grant steps up in his contract year, maybe Kabengele turns out to be legit...
