Will be pulling for Kabengele. Seems like a great kid and looks really excited to be there.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

TP for the share.  Definitely someone to root for, and it seems like he's really focused on picking up the details for how to become a better player.

An interesting takeaway is he said they'd mostly been working on drop coverages with the bigs, so we might see less switching while Rob is out.

Excellent interview.  Smart and hardworking are 2 good traits to have. Hope he is able to find a meaningful role.

Danilo Gallinari not ruling out returning this season?

Bobby Manning: Danilo Gallinari isn’t sure if he’ll play this season. Asked about some of the early positive steps less than one month since surgery “I started walking two days ago, three days ago. That’s a huge step.” Says he’ll be able to shoot free throws soon. @CelticsCLNS pic.twitter.com/p0t4ugSaYz  – via Twitter RealBobManning

Gallinari needs to be quiet until we’ve been awarded a DPE!

if he can actually play this season before the playoffs (despite all medical analysis to the contrary), I'd rather have him than whoever's probably left that we could get to play his position

Reggie Kissoonlal at C’s camp today. Played in Denmark last season and is expected to join Maine via E10.

Short story:  Terrible at Northwestern State.  Transferred to an NAIA school (Marion), played pretty well.  Went professional and put up some really good stats in Denmark.

Now he'll get to enjoy a Maine winter.

20 pts and 9 rebs in 30 games in Denmark last season.  Graduated from Marion University in 2019, not drafted.  He was 6'-11" in college (as reported) now listed as 7'-0" (he is probably 6'-10").  Age 26.

What does "via E10" mean?

Exhibit 10 contract.  If you're signed to one of those, the team can get rights to send you to their G-League affiliate rather than being subjected to the G-League draft.  He'll be released today as well, in all likelihood.  Same thing we did with AJ Reeves earlier this week.

He looks a step slow but he is long and tall...

He was the Defensive Player of the Year in the Cyprus League, which I just learned exists.

I'd like to see him against better talent.

What, the Cyprus League isn’t good enough for you?

Well, if he ever does make it to the NBA, he will have one of the least likely paths ever:

2014/15  Northwestern State
2015/16  Northwestern State
2016/17  Northwestern State
2017/18  Marion University
2018/19  Marion University
2019/20  Michelin Etha Engomis Nicosia (Cyprus)
2020/21  Randers Cimbria (Denmark)
2021/22  Randers Cimbria (Denmark)
2022/23  Maine Celtics

Even making it to the G League is pretty remarkable.
