The best shooter on the team will maybe see the court this year.

That sample size is very small. And to do it as a regular rotation player where you are counted on to hit shots…I don’t see it. I think he is a good G league player and nothing more. Definitely not a legit rotation player.’

They're going to sign him to a longer contract because they think he sucks?

No idea. But I just have a hard time believing that Sam Hauser is the answer at wing off the bench.

He looks to me like he has some ability,  but was out of place on a lot of plays on both ends.

Might just need time to gel with the team.

Only a small sample size cause they didn't play him. In the tiny amount of time, he got he still shot 43%.

Thank goodness Hauser is here longer. Needed some good news to drown out the loss of Murray.

They are supposedly going to sign him long term.

Hauser looks like he can be a cheap version of Duncan Robinson.

"The 6’8″ forward played limited minutes in 26 NBA games with Boston, but did convert an impressive amount of his three-point attempts (19-44, 43.2%). Hauser was a G League standout for the team’s affiliate in Maine, putting up 20.2 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 2.9 APG and 1.1 SPG on .460/.408/.800 shooting in 13 regular season contest (35 MPG)"

After seeing what Max Strus turned into (note that he pushed Robinson out of the Heat's rotation) I would hope that they'll be giving Hauser a long look, meaning play him to see if he might actually help the team.

What's the story with Stauskas?  I thought he could step in for some bench minutes.
