Early indications are Tyler Herro’s extension with Miami will settle around $25 million in average annual value. Victor Oladipo is not expected to return to the Heat and is said to have interest from Washington, Denver and Detroit, in the salary range of the taxpayer MLE.

Ignoring that Jake Fischer is a BS artist, would you have interest in Oladipo at the Taxpayer MLE?

I definitely would have interest. Obviously there is injury risk but there is plenty of upside also.

Personally would prefer to spend the MLE on a little more size, but Oladipo is intriguing.

Makes me wonder though when the teams reportedly with interest are 2 lotto teams + Denver.  If the brain trusts around the league thought he had something left, would think the list of interested teams would be different.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

That would be incredible. Then I'd package White, filler, and a 1st for Collins. Oh, and then we still have the TPE.

For the TPMLE, I'd be on board. His perimeter defense would fit right in. We'd still badly need a shooter, but I'm still going to foolishly hold out hope that Nesmith can rediscover his shot.

You left out the part about blackmailing Landry Fields into accepting that deal

I see him as a fallback plan. I certainly hope he not the C's main addition this summer

My guess is Washington.  They have the bigger MLE, more playing time, and it’s his hometown.

If he's back to good health then I think he'd be a solid pick up for that money.

Eh, I get that it might be a little far-fetched, but Collins wants out and ATL seems ready to deal him. On top of that, ATL has had interest in White in the past. If they don't want to give up 4 1st rounders for Murray, this maybe a good fall-back option and a great way to shore up their backcourt defense. Even though White was mostly dreadful for us, I believe he still has value - especially for a team like ATL.

There is also this from Lowe:

[Lowe] I think John Collins trade value from what I heard is a little lower than what Hawks fans want to hear

Too much injury risk. Can't shoot. No interest.

Minimum contract defensive energy guy.

So is he taking White’s minutes or Smart’s? I don’t see where he would fit in. Not sure the C’s would benefit having another average shooting, 6’3”/6’4” combo guard. Really need a Wing, though.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.
