Have to miss the game this evening. Hope to wake up to some excellent highlights and a definitive showing for a game one stomp.
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

We are the Boston Celtics. We don’t celebrate EC championships. Stop with the house money nonsense. When you get this close and don’t get it done it stings. There are no guarantees about future years. Get it done now!

Exactly!  We have come too far to lose now.  Gate that ring!

Robert Williams has been upgraded to available for Game 1 tonight.

He's starting, no restrictions, but they will watch his minutes (whatever that means)

Watching highlights of GS playing Dallas I notice how Luka's complete lack of defensive ability compromised Dallas's defense. The Celtics don't have that defensive weak link.

Robert Williams is feeling better after a few days off and will start. He doesn't have a minute restriction, but Coach Udoka says the team will try to keep him around 20 minutes.

Nice

I'd be very happy with quality over quantity from Rob.  He had zero hops in Game 7 vs Heat.

Feeling oddly confident about tonight. Can't really explain it. I am terrified because it's a road game and not to bash the other fanbases (MIL's homecrowd is good and can get rowdy), but Golden State's crowd is definitely a lot more energetic and hostile than MIL, BKN and MIA (more so the last two). Still, I have a feeling the C's will steal one tonight when people least expect it.

Might sound really dumb to say but I might not even watch the entire game just out of nerves. Especially hate when the other team goes on a run and their crowd gets into it.

Beyond the obvious excitement of being on the Finals, I’m looking forward to getting to watch the Warriors intensely for however many games this series goes.  They’ve been such a fun team to watch over the years and a great story making it back to the Finals this year.  The last 5 of the last 6 times the Celtics made the Finals I was so consumed with hatred of the Lakers it was almost uncomfortable watching the games (especially when the Lakers finally broke through and beat the Celts in 1985).

Anyhow… should be fun

Yup

It wasn't quite so much his complete lack of defensive ability, but rather the GS strategy of putting him in every action in order to exhaust him. I think his lack of defence is exaggerated a bit because opposition teams think trying to tire him on D is the best strategy (and it probably is).

THIS IS FINALS. we waited since 2010. WATCH THE GAME!
