What's also ridiculous is bringing social commentary about masks into a celebratory game thread. Just terrible. Let the guy wear whatever he wants.
Personal freedom above all, unless someone does something different.

I am watching Giannis' post game at the podium.  Props to him, not making any excuses, gives the C's the props.

I genuinely like Giannis he works hard and plays hard. It's not his fault the NBA gives him those terrible calls. It's an NBA problem, not a Gianni's problem.

Went to NetsDaily and LibertyBallers and surprisingly they're amazed at how the Celtics have been developed. They have the C's beating Miami esp coming from the 76ers fans, who think this C's team look like a championship team. Praised Ime and Monty Williams, wished they still had them but instead they get a choke job underachieving coach who hasn't done anything in over a decade lol

Giannis is all class. Always has been. A great rep for the NBA.

What's this I hear about a CLNS report that Smart is in a walking boot after today's game and won't be available for a postgame conference?

Agreed.  Jrue and Middleton are good guys, too.  They're a very likable team when they're not playing the Celts.

What will it take to get Ime to take the chin diaper off?

yeah this is ridiculous
Yep

Why does it matter?
Because they can't fathom selfless behaviour.

I was at the game on Wednesday night. Some time with mask on, some with mask off. Guess who has COVID now (Kind of a double whammy after Wednesday night's game)? Can I prove it was from the Garden? Of course not. Did I go to any other events with 17,000 people screaming their heads off last week? Nope.

First, and most importantly. I'm fine. Triple-vaxxed. Had a bit of a sore throat yesterday and am virtually asymptomatic today.

But it sucks. I have to sleep and function in a different room, can't eat with the family and had to sit across the room from my son today while we both watched the games with masks. But if I stay positive for a few more days, we may have to cancel my daughter's birthday party on Saturday and I'd miss out on a WooSox game on Sunday.

Look, I get it. They look silly, they're no fun to wear and we're all sick of them. I'm totally cool with that. But if Ime, or anyone else out there, feels more comfortable wearing a mask, more power to them.

Mike

Yeah, this is where I'm at.  Hate them while we're playing them.  Now that we're done, I like them again.  And Giannis is back to being one of my favorite non-Celtics.  Dude is one of the most likeable superstars in the league.

Me too. Great respect for his approach to the game and especially the way he treats other people.
