I'm guessing the NBA didn't realize they were deploying Foster in favor of the Celtics for the first time in history, so they had to quickly backtrack. Normal procedure would be to extend the series, but there is a clause stating that the only exception to that rule is if extending the series means favoring Boston.

Honestly I think deep down they knew Timelord was going to miss the rest of the series but they just wanted to act like it was a "day to day" thing. Sucks, but he did look sluggish in the games he did play since coming back. I respect him for coming back as soon as he did but maybe he really did need some more time.

I wouldn't rule out game 7.

Maybe. There are rumors Middleton could be back Game 7 too if it goes that far. In fact he could have potentially played limited minutes today IF MIL was trailing in the series

I almost feel at peace with this game. To me, our season died last game. If we lose tonight, ah well. If we win and force a game 7, I'm super happy to be wrong.

Not going to lie, I'm nervous. Hopefully the guys respond and come out and put them away early and actually maintain the lead the entire game like game two.

I don't think the Celtics can win this series without Rob Williams' defense in the middle.
I said at the outset they needed him to win a Championship.
I see he's out again game 6  because he still feels pain in the knee.

I've been running 10 years with a meniscus tear in my right knee. I feel pain usually after I run, but not during.
These tears are usually self healing to an extent, and you can run with them.
Of course, basketball is tougher than running, with the lateral movement that stresses the knee.

I still feel he should play through the pain, since there's no tomorrow if they lose.

I just read it's a bone bruise, not the meniscus tear. All the more reason to try to play through it.
Just 10-15 mins could make the difference. Tape it up.

For once I'd like to see the C's play a relatively clean game in terms of the turnovers. Feels like this whole series, even the games they've won they've had stretches of extremely sloppy play and that simply can't happen the rest of the way against this Bucks team if they want to advance

not me this franchise is stuck in quicksand we make ECF many times and cannot advance.  we play stupid too often and just whatever.  we blow games galore.

we are our own worst enemy.

we are losing time. these guys have tons of playoff experience and it is same old same old.

no more excuses. go get a [dang] big man who can score and somebody else this offseason.

this series should be over. we never learn.

I would like to see Tatum play like the All Star Tatum. He needs to stand up to Giannis, challenge him offensively and defensively. I want him to dunk over Giannis.. and of course knock down his shots efficiently.

It all starts with Tatum.
