I'm not too interested in Manek, he reminds me of Kelly Olynyk but shorter and without any passing ability. That's a very limited guy IMO.

I like the idea of someone like Michael Devon in the 2nd round. Tall shifty ball-handler who can shoot. Reminds me of a Delon Wright type.

If Michael Foster somehow falls to our range or we move up in the 2nd I'd snag him immediately. Have liked him for a while.

But, realistically, I'm expecting nothing of this pick.

I really like Orlando Robinson, he reminds me a bit of Tobias Harris.

Robinson’s currently a centre, but I’m curious if he’s capable of playing power forward in the NBA.

My biggest concern is if he’s suitable for Udoka’s switch heavy defence.

Switchable defensive big who can shoot from 3.  Not a good passer yet, and is pretty inconsistent both from game-to-game and within games, but he’s got an immense ceiling and most mocks have him in the 50s.  He’s likely to come out as a freshman despite his draft projection due to family financial needs.

He'd be great for a pick in the 50s. I see him mocked in the 50s a lot, but as a high upside freshman I just don't get it... he'd be a bargain!

I don’t get it either.  I kind of feel he’s one of those players the mocks miss on, and someone is going to draft him a lot higher.  Givony came out and put him in the low-60s, and no one’s going to bump him up 20-30 spots.  It’s really easy to see him fitting in the NBA some day, compared to a lot of players at that draft range.

Longer wingspan...

21% from 3. If he can deffend at a high level there might be a place for him somewhere.

He doesn't really attempt many threes. 14 in 29 games.

If Caleb Love is there he'd be a solid pick in the 50s.

Ibou Badji would be a nice project pick in the late second. 7'1" with a 7'8" wingspan. He's big!

He can shoot 3s just not make them...

He defends at a high level, and the defense should be able to make the C’s rotation no later than year 2.  Shooting needs more work, but he didn’t shoot 3s in high school so it’s nice that he’s stepping out to that range as a freshman.  We’re talking a pick in the early 50s — of course he’s got some things to work on!  But the form looks good, and I think he’ll wind up in the low 30 as a pro, maybe better.  I’m not saying he’s an outside threat, but I think he could at least shoot as well as Theis from 3 in a season or two.

Defense has elite potential tho.  He’s got length, agility, and timing, and would fit very well in the Celtics defensive system.  His offensive floor is a rim-runner, but the fact that he steps out for perimeter shots sometimes is promising for him to develop into something more.

He’s a steal at 50 given his floor and ceiling.

Sleeper pick. Not sure he is coming out. But I met the kid last year and saw him play an amazing game in person.

Jalen Williams - Santa Clara

Good size for a 2 guard at 6'6". Very good shot mechanics resulting in 52/40/80 shooting splits. Not the most athletic but not unathletic, decent rebounder and good playmaker. Shows great effort but defense still needs work.
