So, who does Bill draft tonight?

A tight end? ["great value, we weren't expecting him to be there"]
Another guard? ["gotta build through the trenches"]
A punter? ["he wouldn't have lasted much longer"]

Probably go punter with the first pick in the second round or maybe a special teams player to replace Gunner.

This could be Logan Mankins level of genius, or it could be a big nothingburger. Gotta love it!

Trades down and we'll end up with about 20 picks for Day 3 (Rounds 4-7)

The amount of trading thus far in the draft has been unreal

ugh. but maybe true. we will see soon!
I see Metchie has come off the board (reach!!!!! isn't that what the national media would say if the Pats made that pick?). In terms of WR, I really like the guy from Cincinatti, Alex Pierce. And, Nakobe Dean is still on the board.

The problem with trying to stay on top of what is going on with the New England Patriots on twitter is that #Patriots brings up all sorts of right-wing militia stuff....

Nakobe Dean would be awesome if he fell, but watch us pick Troy Andersen or someone random

Yeah I was just about to say, at the risk of getting my hopes up I am watching closely and praying Nakobe Dean is still there at #54. 5 picks left before NE goes unless if NE trades up soon. But then again, maybe NE picks another random guy  :P

Though I'm shocked Dean has fallen this far

Patriots select WR Tyquan Thornton

He's a very speedy receiver and probably one of the fastest guys in the Draft which is nice but just like Strange, I'm pretty sure most mocks had him going later lol (not Round 2)

Booger is such a bad analyst, lol.

"We were underwhelmed with Agholor and Kendrick Bourne"

What?? Bourne had a 55/800/5 season. That's pretty good for $5m a year

They really felt that had to trade up four spots (or whatever it was) to select this guy? I just don't get it. It's like Bill feels he needs to make trades because that's his reputation. He's outsmarting himself. Seriously.

EDIT: They traded their own pick plus a 5th round pick for Thornton. I really don't get it.
