After countless suggestions from Mike Gorman and the many great looks from the Dunkin cam, I decided to go out and buy a one for myself. I’m not a coffee drinker so if I go there, it’ll really be for the donuts.

Now, I don’t live in Boston so I don’t have as many Dunkin Donuts outlets available to me and my experience after eating it was… just ok. I didn’t love it. I thought Krispy Kreme was still better. And I’m not sure if I’ll buy again anytime soon. I buy Dunkin’ Donuts when I visit Boston and the ones here definitely don’t measure up to those.

Anyway, just wanted to share that for some reason lol feel free to share your own experiences with DD I guess? ;D

People run on the caffeine ☕️🧋☕️🧋☕️🧋in its various forms.but run away from the donuts.

There are some great local donut shops in Boston and it’s environs.

Hell, even Honey Dew’s donuts are better!🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩

No, but unfortunately I remember who did for most of his Celtics career:

5' 10" former point guard

Career highlight: 1973-74 championship, Boston Celtics

Career lowlight: traded for a washing machine

Yes,, the donuts/muffins better at HD and both are awful compared to a decent donut shop.  It’s about convenience and coffee.

Don't expect quality when you are paying for convenience.   ;)

When I commuted for work (pre-pandemic) I was a daily DD addict.  I've cut way back now since I rarely drive anymore, but getting a DD iced coffee is still a nice treat when out doing errands.

People who like coffee and live anywhere near a Panera should just get their $8.99/month coffee subscription. Unlimited coffee, iced coffee, tea [every two hours] throughout each month. Coffee is such a rip-off and I don't even really like it, but I do have the subscription. You only need to go like once a week to make it worth it.

Exactly. I actually like Dunkin coffee (due to cream and sugar), but the donuts / breakfast sandwiches are mediocre.

For good donuts, you go to a bakery.  For quick donuts you go to Dunkin.

For those of you lucky to live nearby one:  Wawa makes the best “convenient” coffee.  In fact, Wawa is pretty much the best at everything.  They need to expand into New England; I’d spend 10% of my salary there.

I run to Krispy Kreme for hot and fresh and grind my own coffee beans at home  :)

Smell and taste Coffee from fresh ground bean brewing in the morning is a little of heaven .

I just set my programed coffee maker for when I wake. Pour the coffee in a thermal cup as I head out. Fastest and best value coffee available is doing it at home.

When I get home and cook I prepare the coffee maker for it's next morning brew.

Same with me. I haven’t had DD coffee in 2 years. Used to be every day.   I am embarrassed to say that my home coffee is Folgers instant. Water 2 minutes in microwave, then a teaspoon of Folgers. Horrifying I know.

The Dunkins in Chicago suck.  It's the weirdest thing.  I've had fellow Mass transplants out here tell me the same thing.  Something is off.  So I load up on Dunkin whenever I go back east.

Dark Matter is my go-to out here.

DD quality is trash. Awful coffee. When I was working in the city pre pandemic, I’d get coffee from pretty much every other coffee shop in the financial/seaport district.
