I think we should play whoever we draw. Avoiding games is for cowards! You also get a false sense of how good you are you by beating teams you match up against. Play through everyone to see what to do for next year.
I think it's obvious the Celts will struggle against teams with quality bigs.
Ainge built this team in 2017, before the freedom of movement rule was implemented.
This Celts team is modeled after the Warriors, positionless basketball.
The Warriors got away with not having a quality big man because they were so aggressive on defense.
Draymond Green held, pushed, grabbed, and bumped the likes of LaMarcus Aldridge.
You can't do that anymore with the implementation of the freedom of movement rule.
Just like GSW, Celts were very aggressive on defense last season.
That's why they reached the east finals even without Kyrie and Hayward.
This season the Celts' weakness of not having a big man who can score inside and rebound consistently is very apparent.
It's very clear the Celts are in need of Anthony Davis.
But that's for next season.
This season I think playing it smart is better than getting eliminated early in the playoffs and Celtic fans getting angry.
And since the Celts more or less can control what seed they will be in, why not take advantage of it.
