Man, this is even more awesome than last game.

Wonder what Doc or KG/PP said in the locker room at halftime.

Josh Smith can't do anything against Sully. Been playing quite well defensively, but it's weird... this is a match-up that Smith should be exploiting. Sully has shown difficulty defending his types.

Wow!

That quarter highlighted so much:

1) How good the Celtics can be when they put forth effort and they execute well.

2) Pierce is a flat-out HOF-er.

3) Why the Hawks cannot truly contend for a championship.  Too many 3's and long jumpers.  The Celtics sometimes suffer from this same issue.

4) Josh Smith's weaknesses, and why I've never really wanted him on the C's.  I mean, I'd take him straight up for Bass or Green, but I wouldn't base our future around him and Rondo.  His effort fluctuates and he too often settles for loooong jumpers when his natural athleticism can get him to the rim every time.

5) I love Sully more every game.

yeah, atlanta has a lot of talented players, but they aren't playing to their strengths.  Al H, and Josh Smith have been chucking up 18 footers instead of attacking the rim.  I think that is a huge mistake.  It is bad when we do that, but we are old and slow.  They are young and can jump out of the gym, no reason to take bad jump shots.

I love Sully!! Just love him, the guy is a true warrior, a true Celtic...
I think Terry was told not to board on the team plane if they get blown out again, cuz I've never seen him so locked in as a Celtic! Good for him... :P
"Life has so many hurdles. Some of them I've hopped over, some of them I've tripped over. The key is to get back up and finish the race."- Paul Pierce

And he did finish...
