I don't think people understand how bad Troy Daniels is on defense...

2 years ago, he was in the bottom percentile along with.... Surprise, surprise. Dion Waiters.

Ironically, Daniels just got waived for Dion Waiters. (Or in the process currently as Waiters is doing several work outs for the Lakers.)

Why sign Waiters? I don’t get it for the Lakers. He’s a headcase, in a lockerroom of headcase.

Maybe Lebron is just trying to p--- off Kyrie.

I can understand it. Waiters when locked in is a really good defender. He did well in his time with OKC in the playoffs. But as you said yourself, he's a headcase.

They are also trying to bring in JR Smith, so I'm gonna assume their main premise is hoping that the strong locker room can rein in either players.

Problem with Daniels is he was way too lost on defense, and couldn't hit his shots.

The Lakers also need someone who can sort of create their own shot or ball handling duties/play making. I personally don't think Waiters is the cure for that.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

If a player with less than average defense buys into Brad's system he'll be at least an average defender.

Either of these guys would be good additions:

Waiters is a loose cannon.

Couldn’t be worse than Javonte Green and Carson Edwards...

Every other contending team is picking up vets for the playoffs but us. You could pick up Trey Burke and Troy Danials and cut Green and Poirier.

Green is the more useful player, but he is the easiest one to cut money wise. Right now Id cut him to add a shooter off the bench.

The nets game whenever we had Hayward with smart and 3 bench guys, the opponent went zone and we had no answer. A shooter instead of green or langford wouldve helped a lot there.

I agree. I also think that Langford playing more 7 minutes would've helped as well.

Langford is the same size as LeVert but he didn't get put on a red hot LeVert and Edwards was guarding him in overtime.

Or Tatum more than zero minutes.
Yup

That's true but the best ability is still availability....
