Langford was showcased last night but still didn't do much to increase his stock.. Sadly we have no assets at the end of the bench to trade for a quality back up.

My guess is yes but something extremely minor like opening a roster spot. Nothing that changes the team much in the moment.

I think so but I believe it'll be a smaller move, getting a 10th to 12th rotation player.

No, chemistry is too good right now to risk messing with.  Don't see any minor trades improving us enough to offset the risk of lost chemistry.

BUT... its very quiet right now.  That's typically when Danny makes his big trades, when nobody is expecting one.

Nope. No smoke at all. DA is staying put
I’d say yes because of no smoke.

I think the most we get is a trade to open up a roster spot for a potential buyout.

I hope that isn't true.

I'm not sure how Gordon Hayward will play out over the next two years. But if the Celtics trade him or don't commit to him long term, I can see Langford evolving into a starter in 2-3 years. He's only been 20 for a few months. You can see how he could become another true two way player that could fit perfectly with Brown and Tatum. I'd much rather see the team see what his potential is rather than use him as trade filler.

I say no.  I don't believe the front office sees this as an all in year.

Wait people think Romeo was being showcased?

I think that was a case of Javonte playing poorly last game so Romeo got a crack at starting. Which he came through on given that Brad kept him out there.

Its not showcasing. LOL if you think GMs and Coaches get swayed by one game performances you seriously have to rethink the way you judge them. GMs know NBA players more than the average fan, and a single game is not going to change their mind.

Waiting for buyouts

Might trade a player to open up a roster spot for a potential buyout.
Seems like a possible scenario.  So who is at risk?  IMO, it's either Green or Poirier.  BTW, I voted no.

Green needs to go. Last few games he has been bad...will not see the court when everyone returns. Get an open roster spot for a buyout that can help.

Yes, those two or Edwards.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Green, the 14th player in the rotation, making ~$860,000, has to go because he played so well against Orlando in Orlando, Danny gave him more minutes and he didn't play quite as well?

Way to over react.
