Wow.  This team continues to pile up the impressive wins.  Amazingly just 2 more for a Finals trip! Such steely effort withstanding Lebron's charge tonight.

Really tough to choose tonight.  I kind of want to give all of the points to Smart, but I have to share the love.

My votes for Game 2:

Smart 2:  Major balls.
Brown 1: Withstood the charge with the O.  Deserves 2 votes, but I need to spread em out.
Morris 1: Gets 1 just for yelling at Thompson.  Showing that the Celts aren't afraid of the Cavs.
Rozier 1: Quiet them dominant.  Once Terry got going the Cavs couldn't handle the speed of the game at all.
Horford 1: He picked up a vote from me late for putting the exclamation point on the 4th quarter putaway.

GO CELTS!
Yup

2 for Smart. No explanation needed.
2 for Horford. He put the game away with his defense and scoring after that Flagrant. Also kept the team from getting too emotional and losing it
1 for Brown for his scoring, and matching Lebron 1 on 1 early on
1 from Rozier for helping us take the lead in the second

Come on C's, let's take it in 4! (Unrealistic but I don't care)
I'm bitter.

Spread one to everybody on your poll except Baynes, and I would have given him one as well had I not run out of votes.

This was a team win.  Everybody hustles and plays defense.  Everybody shares the load on offense.  Brown kept us in the game in the first quarter, and in the second quarter it was Tatum.  In the third, Rozier.  In the fourth, Horford.  It's difficult for one player - even one as transcendent as Lebron - to beat a concerted, high-level team effort, and tonight supported that statement.

I don't have enough points for this team.

I agree with Redz though. Smart deserves every point, but I would give one to Jaylen keeping us in the game when Lebron went supernova, one tp Rozier for that great third quarter (and a very cool dunk), one to Horford for being amazing in the fourth. And one to Mook for turning it around after a bad first half and screaming at Thompson.

Great team effort. This team is so lovable.

2 for Horford. After the cut it to 6 with 4 to go, he came out and took over on both ends to seal the win. All around great effort from him, as usual.

2 for Smart. He’s really the heart and soul of this team, he just makes winning plays all the time and never a doubt he’s got your back. Got the extra vote for beelining right at Smith.

1 for Brown. His fast start kept us close while LeBron was torching, clutch shots and great energy.

1 for Morris. Was torn between him and Rozier for this last one, but Morris is doing an admirable job on LeBron (despite his ridiculous line) by making him work for his points. Even when he was hitting everything I thought LeBron was exerting a lot of energy that he wouldn’t have late. Loved that he went at Thompson. Gotta give it to him, he goes at it with guys bigger than him, he’s no bully.

3 for Jaylen, as I thought he was the MVP. Without his scoring in the first, the Celtics might have fallen too far behind to come back from. He also played Lebron very well which is nothing to sneeze at.

1 for Horford for finishing strong, 1 for Morris for keeping physical all night with Lebron and Thompson, and 1 for Smart for everything he does.

For me, it's Brown.   He was our leading scorer, and he keep us afloat and in the game during LeBron's initial onslaught.   No deer in the headlights for us, thanks to Jaylen.    Remarkable composure for a second year guy!

Here are results from the first two games.  I think it's a pretty accurate portrayal of the players' values so far.

The link will take you to a google spreadsheet for details.  Might be super late until I get to post a poll tonight.  I'm going to be watching game on DVR with a couple of hours delay  :( . GO CELTS!
