Great article on Flagg:  https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/cooper-flagg-dishes-on-boston-celtics-film-study-vision-for-dukes-defense-and-new-bond-with-kevin-love/

I hope the kid ends up on a team with good management. Not like Washington or The Pistons...

It would be interesting if he ends up going to Houston and Udoka after the Rockets struggle for one more year. I'd love if he got drafted by the Spurs.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Houston would be a great fit.  San Antonio too.

Brooklyn, Washington, Portland, and Detroit will likely be the worst teams in the league. So he probably end up on one of those.

I hope not as well, but if he does, which of those would you prefer him going to?

none of them. i would like to see flagg end up in san antonio. he would get good coaching and fit with wemby very well.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

So would I, but the Spurs should be much better this year. So it?s very unlikely that they get him. Flagg will more than likely go to one of the worst teams in the league. Which are the ones listed above.

Love it.

Duke forward Cooper Flagg -- the No. 1 prospect in ESPN's 2025 NBA draft class -- has signed a significant shoe endorsement deal with New Balance.

Flagg joins a New Balance brand tied closely to his home state, including a Skowhegan, Maine, manufacturing factory that is 25 miles from his childhood home in Newport.

"The connection with New Balance as a family company and a company with Maine roots means a lot to me," Flagg told ESPN. "That makes this really different and special. My mom used to go to the tent sale for back-to-school shopping there when we were kids. That really aligns the brand with my roots. It's a perfect fit."

My family went to a couple of those tent sales too. Good deals!

Flagg said he doesn't have one player at the next level whom he tries to emulate, but former Duke star Jayson Tatum has made an impact on his game.

"There is nobody specific that I've mainly focused on modeling my game after," he said. "But I would say [Tatum] would be a good example of [someone]. I've watched him a lot. Not necessarily as a model, modeling my game, but just having watched him a lot, there are definitely things that I can pick up on and take from his game."

Cooper Flagg should be tested tonight as Duke plays Kentucky. Game is on ESPN at 9pm ET.

Overall, Flagg had a great game vs Kentucky finishing with 26pts/12rebs, but he had two bad turnovers trying to go iso at the end and it cost Duke the game.
