"Still waiting...."
Seemed like last year when KG went down, people picked up their own play...each player did it on their own accord.
Big Baby stepped up.
Rondo stepped up.
Ray Allen stepped up.
Fast forward to 2010 and we signed Sheed, we signed Marquis Daniels.
We're still waiting for each of those new signings to make their mark or have their signature game for us.
We're still waiting for a healthy KG to carry us home.
We're still waiting for each player to take responsibility, personal responsibility.
I hate to point fingers, but something or someone has infected this team with this laize faire attitude.
And I think it all started with Doc Rivers' "Chicago Bears defense" proclamation.
Right from the get go, this team seemed to feel this sense of entitlement, like it was owed a championship by default because their best player was hurt the season before.
Then Sheed goes on to say that they will win 70 games. (Can't win 70 games bricking shots).
It is sad for me to say this, but the most hustle I see out there is from Baby and Tony Allen...and that's not fair guys.
