Wow, bad news for the Hornets but unless they can move Joe Smith in the next 16 hours there's a good chance he gets bought out.  C's need to be on top of it if he is.
I need to post more so that I'm no longer characterized as Tony Allen

Wait...Joe Smith is available again!

Now that the Thunder have terminated the trade they made with the Hornets, that means Joe Smith is available. If only we had something to give them...I have been praying for Joe Smith to join the Green all season. Hope springs eternal, or something.

Smith
Chris Sheridan: A source who has been in the know for years tells me that Joe Smith is keeping his fingers crossed that the Thunder do not find another trade for him now that he's back in Oklahoma City. Smith, the source said, would like to do a buyout and then sign with the Boston Celtics as this season's version of P.J. Brown.

PLEASE NO TRADES INVOLVING JOE SMITH!!!

This would fill a big hole on the bench

That's great news - I wouldn't trade for him, but I'd love to see us pick him up at a prorated vet minimum.  Couldn't hurt.

Yeah, if a certain game finishes a certain way (not naming it to avoid the jinx) this will be a great intro to the post All-star season.

Edit: Bah.

If we could add Marbury and Smith I will gladly take my chances . Still would like to add a defensive SF to go against Lebron though....

That trade got rescinded, because Chandler failed his physical.

No doubt

Marbury is still an explosive scorer who can get others involved. Sam Cassell was on his last legs and was basically a black hole who didnt get any one else involved.

Joe Smith is  a younger version of PJ Brwon
