Just saw that he was not playing, don't remember hearing about an injury, could there be a deal in place?

The great play of this team without him should show everyone that it's time to move on though.

or move him to the bench in-place of Dooling.

They've done nothing tonight they haven't been doing in spurts throughut this miserable stretch.  Ray would be a great pick-up for a team looking for a piece of the puzzle.  C's will miss him, which would only matter if they had a chance of going somewhere.

If a trade was in line to move Ray Allen + pieces for Josh Smith im all for it. Im a massive Smith fan and he would be a great fit in Boston

Can't we just bring Gerald Green back?

Or do you mean we kick Dooling off the team altogether?

After watching tonights game I really noticed how much more speed and athleticism the celts have with Bass and Pietrus in for Allen JO.

Not saying Pietrus is better at all let's clarify that now.  I just think he is a better fit with the starters.  Pierce isn't a spring chicken and neither is garnet.  It's much better to give Rondo some young bucks who can run than JO and Allen.

I really think they should bring Ray off the bench!!  He would be  a focal point, with the starters they don't know who to go to.  Pierce, KG Rondo is fine and Pietrus can space the floor.

Rondo with speed around him is fun to watch.   I hope they could trade Ray for J Smith plus a pick.

Then next year if they get Jeff Green back they would have an amazing up tempo team.

Imagine

C:KG
PF:J Smith
SF: Green
SG: Pietrus
PG: Rondo

Bench: Bass, Pierce, Bradley, JJ and  Center

This is a possible squad and they would be fun to watch.

Was thinking the same thing. And yes on Smith. Love Ray but if it's a rebuild and d12 wants pieces Tohelp him win what more than the previous lineup with the possibility of Dwight.

I still wish we wouldnt have to give him up but would have to obviously, Ray will be valuable for any team

Yes, clearly now we can see Ray Allen has been the problem...

Christ, people. It was ONE game. Ray Allen can still ball.

Of course he can. That's what makes him such a valuable piece whether it be for cap space or a Josh Smith caliber player. But in a young league we need to get younger.
