I think a sophomore is pretty far ahead of a rookie, so I wouldn't trade any of the young kids that are looking like NBA players for a 2nd rounder unless I thought I had the best prospect ever lined up, perhaps not even late 1st rounders.  So I'd have to at least get something in the teens to consider trading Avery, or JJJ, and perhaps still want a 1st for Moore, who I like very much.

I agree with the consensus:

Rondo top 5, Pierce top 10 or 15 (and he was glad to be traded) along with KG and Ray (otherwise not worth trading them), Sasha, Bass, Quisy, Pietrus, Wilcox all 1st rounders.

Dooling or JO: I'd take a protected 2019 2nd round pick only transfered if both the draft lottery and selection day fall on a full moon.  They're worthless.

Rondo: 5

Pavlovic: 60
Stiemsa: 30
Dooling: 45

I knew I would get accused of over valuing our guys, but this goes to far in the other direction.  You'd let O'Neal, Pietrus or Pavlovic go for the last player drafted?  The trade value may not be huge on these guys, but we could do better than that.  They could be traded for actual NBA players.

I think it is interesting that slamdunk values Pierce, Bass, and Allen equally and values Dooling more than Pietrus, O'Neal, or Pavlovic.

I don't have a strong opinion on this draft yet, so this may change:

Rondo - top-3
Garnett - lottery
Pierce - lottery
Avery Bradley - lottery
Ray Allen - top-25
JaJuan Johnson - top-25
Bass - early second
Pietrus - early second
Wilcox, O'Neal, Pavlovic, Dooling, Moore, Stiemsa - any pick

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I'll play along.

Rondo - top 3
Pierce - top 7
KG and Ray - worth a top 10 for me
Bass - mid 1st round at about 15-20
Wilcox - around 15-20 the way he's playing now
Jermaine - should be able to fetch a late 1st (expiring)
Everybody else - late 1st or a 2nd

Except for

Steimsma - 2nd round or future 2nd round
Dooling - bag of Cheetos, 2nd round

That's just me.

  • Rondo = Good
Rondo - 5 (only if I think I can get a real stud)
Pierce - 10
Garnett - 30 (any trade netting a 1st)
Allen - 30 (any trade netting a 1st)
JJJ - 20
Bradley - 15
