Absolute melt down after Dray got a pretty soft flagrant. Hilarious

I know it benefits the Celtics if the Lakers win but I just can't root for that team.
Lakers missing the playoffs is a bigger benefit if AD actually cares about winning and his legacy.

But it's not AD's decision, so I would rather they not have a lottery pick to trade. As much as I hate Lebron and the Lakers, it would be fun seeing them get crushed by the Warriors in the 1st round.
That's a good point.  They could even get lucky and end up with the #1 pick which would trump our offer.

Don't even make me think about that

I don't think the number one pick in this up coming draft is more valuable than Tatum.

I think it would be to the Pels.  Zion is a unicorn and has huge hype.  Tatum has star potential but he's not a star yet and he's certainly no unicorn.

Yeah, I agree. It might be less valuable to some Celtics fans, but Zion's hype is truly unbelievable. He alone would sell a bunch of tickets

I'm leery about his ultimate fit in the NBA, but I do not see Anthony Bennett.

Bennett averaged 24 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 1 block per 40 minutes.

Williamson is averaging 30 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks per 40 minutes.

Bennett shot 53/38/70
Williamson shoots 68/30/67

Bennett off rat 118 def rating 90
Williamson off rat 136 def rating 82

Bennett OBPM 5.3, DBPM 3.2, BPM 8.5
Williamson OBPM 13.2, DBPM 8.5, BPM 21.7

Bennett never dominated a college game like Williamson does. He is a monster on defense and uber-efficient on offense. He makes back-breaking plays on both sides of the court. Williamson's ability to enforce his will on the college game is unparalleled.

Still, what is he in the NBA? I don't know. I think he is a small-ball 4 to pair with a high level pick-and-roll player (aka the Draymond Green role). Although I think he is pretty good at distribution, he will be at his best as an attacker/finisher in that role.

Big guys won't be able to stay with him. Small guys won't be able to defend him.

At the very least, I see his playing type as the forward version of Russell Westbrook. Maybe he won't ever be the most skilled guy, but he will enforce his will on the game.

My thoughts exactly. People act like he's gonna be a bust. Far from it, I think he's gonna break out.

You don't post dominant stat lines like this, also his steals per game, and blocks per game trend upwards in terms of giving him high probability of having great success past collegiate.

I now think of Montrezl Harrell and how effective he has been able to be this season as a 6-8 backup center.

26mpg = 16ppg, 6.7rpg, 2apg, 1.5bpg on 62% FG%

If Harrell is able to do that just imagine what Zion Williamson will be able to do given how much stronger and more athletic Zion is even as a limited offensive player skill-wise similar to Harrell who gets almost all his points in and around the paint.

Seeing how good Harrell has been able to be this season gives me added confidence in Zion being able to play center in the NBA.

Yep, and lots of people like to focus on his strength and jumping ability, but his body control, quickness in small spaces, great first step, quick 2nd and 3rd jumps, and straight out speed is just as impressive athletically.  He also has a very good feel for the game, great handle, good passer especially in transition, and a great teammate.

Zion will be a very good player, but, imo, so will Barrett.

I dont know which will have the greater career,
