I give em (some) props - no chemistry or rhythm tonight but they are absolutely scrapping and scratching right now.

Awesome. Scrapping to eek out a home win against the worst team in the league.

Currently, this team is absolute garbage. Already sick of hearing about all the new guys excuse. Four of the starting 5 started last year.

Those 4 guys are the only rotation hold overs from last season when things were clicking. It will take time to get the chemistry right. Nonetheless, there is no excuse for not bringing the effort.

Not awesome at all.  But it beats sucking all night and rolling over at the end.

Can't really complain about Terry.  He's scored at least 8 points off the bench in each of our first 4 games so far, and he's about the only guy outside of our big 3 who has given us that type of consistent output.

It's not exactly 6MOTY worthy, but at least he's consistently productive.

Courtney Lee has looked worse every game he's played..
Game 1: 11 points, 5-6 FG, 1-1 3PT
Game 2: 7 points, 3-7 FG, 1-3 3PT
Game 3: 4 points, 2-7 FG, 0-4 3PT
Game 4 (so far): 2 points, 0-3 FG, 0-1 3PT

I understand that guys are trying to find their groove, but this is just rediculous.  He should be getting better with each game, not dramatically worse.

If I'm Doc I'd be very seriously considering staring Terry and benching Lee.  His performance has been utterly woeful.

Right now the only guys who have even come CLOSE to earning their contracts over the first 4 games have been

- Garnett
- Rondo
- Pierce
- Terry
- Bass (at least he's rebounding)
- Sullinger (it's a rookie contact)

Lee right now hasn't earned a spot on the active roster, let alone the starting lineup.  I'd rather see Melo out there then Lee the way he's playing...at least Melo will TRY.

Nice stop but why I wish it wasn't Rondo who was fouled.

The bold is where I completely agree.
I don't understand the lack of effort and the inconsistencies that this team always seem to have. It's like they will play great for 3 minutes then the next they lose focus and effort is gone.
They should not have to scrape for a win in the first place if the effort would have stayed when they went up 11.
