wow, wow, and wow. After the longest game in postseason history and losing, we cameback from down 4-0 with 3 innings to go and held on with a 9-6 win.

Sale vs Kershaw...Win it in LA and its over...looking for epic...hoping we see Fenway next year...best case, revenge for our last loss in LA in postseason....Worst case...we close it in 6 or 7 back in comfort of best park and fans in baseball..

Lets do this in LA in front of Magic and Papi with our magical team.....Go Sox!!!!.

Absolutely. It's revenge time. For what they did in 2010. But making it sweeter in LA where Magic and their fans can see.

Would love to see it tomorrow and in 2020 for Celtics over Lakers with Durant and Lebron...😁

ALWAYS great to see Magic Johnson and all LA fans unhappy.

TP for the threads.

Cora announced in his presser that Price is the starter for game 5. Nothing wrong with Sale but Price will be starting game 5.

Price going for series MVP. If he can do it, what a reversal of fortunes for that guy. Feel good for him.

Eovaldi will be knocking at the door too. Awesome stuff, love watching him blow hitters away.

If this series goes to game 6, I might need to get a ticket to see the game.

I had a chance to get a decent ticket to game 6 in 2013 and didn't... huge regret.

Obviously though I want this thing to end in LA tomorrow lol. Celebrating from my couch is cool too.

This World Series run eerily reminds me of the Celtics' 2008 Finals. Win first two games, drop the third game, seize game 4 with a come from behind win...

We expecting a rout in Game 6?  ;D Maybe it's just me. But hopefully, it'll be better to put them away sooner.

Does anyone know where the "Do Damage" slogan comes from?

Does anyone know where the "Do Damage" slogan comes from?

According to Boston.com it is "a callback to manager Alex Cora’s introductory press conference when he said the “key” for an offense is “to have a consistent approach, hunting pitches that you can do damage.”"

I suspect the slogan was really cemented when Brian Cashman said back in August the Yankees "do damage" against the Sox pitchers.

The Sox went on to sweep that 4-game series, and afterwards the Sox tweeted "Damage Done." IMO it was around that time that the "Do Damage" slogan really started popping up. Might be wrong about that part, just a theory.

Edit: NESN claims the slogan is indeed related to Brian Cashman's remarks. Incidentally the Dodgers trolled us, saying "Damage Done" on twitter after game 3. Kinda backfired on them though  ;D.
