i said it yesterday in PAPOUG thread that Bahku was my # 1 nominee for the CB HOF and I hadnt read that amazing post yet.......and now? WOWWWWWW

Amazing writing and what an incredible story!  Stories like that combined with Bahku's awesome work in PAPOUG and his wicked cool roster pages in the Pick Two Draft epitomize what makes CB such a great place.

Fantastic job bud!  I'll be heading to Springfield (or wherever the theoretical CB HOF is located) for your future induction ceremony.

I'm pretty sure that if the Hall gets named after anyone, it will be Mr. Clark. ;)

I thought about the nominees thing when I read this thread:

http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=36660.0

MattG (I think) thought it up and FWF put it into action.

The toilet paper debate between FWF and FatKidsDad, both favorite posters of mine, is probably the most enjoyable thing I've read on this blog all season. Not even kidding.

Also in that thread I made fun of Roy for being kicked out of New Jersey (NEW JERSEY), and he calls me a knuckle dragging mouthbreather from the boonies.

Ironically the thread is a great example of how awesome this community is.

Well I am very happy other people are getting something out of that thread... I have been having so much fun in there. Everybody is just letting loose it's a very nice atmosphere, especially since other threads on this site are not very happy lately with the detereoration of the Celtics... and all of the angry political talk.

P.S. I agree Jeff absolutely deserves to have the HOF named after him. I meant no disrespect to Jeff, I just have a ton of respect for Bahku.

Title: Re: Nominations for HOF worthy posts and threads

Nominations for threads and posts have to be voted in by the general populace of the Blog. I would hate to have it actually lose the Post of the Year Award so I am going put that post in as a special achievement post.

I will be thinking up the exact name and category for it to go in a bit later but there's no way an exceptional piece of short story literature like that, that first gets published on this site, is not going to be in the HOF.

There are some older posts in the archives that are also deserving. One of Bent's parodies of Star Wars comes to mind.

Oh, another thing. Since it was done once here already and before people get the wrong idea, there is no nominating people for the Hall of Fame. That comes straight from Jeff.

Now I know I haven't released and set up the opening yet but last year there were no non-staff members put into the HOF. I would think that trend will continue for at least the next two years.

So please, no nomination of posters for the Hall of Fame. That is quite a ways off and will be internally handled by Jeff and the staff.

Thank You.
