Interesting to note that in BOTH conferences, the #2-#6 seeds are all just separated by 3 games  :o

Both conferences also have the #1 seed (LAL, MIL) up 5+ games on the rest and look like they'll cruise to it.

So....Kyrie is playing tonight and so far BKN looks good.

Cue the hate threads in 5.....4.....3.....2.....1....... ;D

Kyrie’s still in the league?  I feel like he fell off the face of the earth...which is possible since it’s flat  8)

I find this Lakers team the most likeable LeBron-led team in a long time. I never warmed to his Cavs teams during his second tour there. His Miami teams were very good but always felt like they were underachieving relative to their talent. His early Cavs were somewhat likeable with Big Z and Varejao but not much else.

This Lakers team though -- I am loving watching old LeBron outmaneuver opposing defenses. I love his intent on passing and setting up the offense. I am a huge Anthony Davis fan (most talented player in the league today). I love Rondo. I love Dwight Howard. I very much like Danny Green. I like Avery Bradley. Lukewarm on JaVale McGee but I respect his late career resurgence after disappointing as a youth and then suffering serious injury problems. I like Kuzma.

There is just a lot of fun things on that team. Very likeable.

Mods sleeping on the job? lol

We have a mole..
No effin way will I ever like the Fakers..in fact the most likeable Faker team there is should be the 60s Lakers with West and Baylor.. Likeable because I feel for their pain of losing year in and out to the Cs.. Then Mikan and his band in Minneapolis...other than that, all incarnations of Lakers team should be hated.

In the West, the 8th seed is a dogfight of 6 teams separated by 3 games or wins.
I hope who ever comes out would bring the Fakers down to its knees. 😜

Until the NBA strips LAL of 5 of their titles and returns them to MIN, there is no way an Cs fan should like or even respect the success of a Lakers team. We need to win a few more titles to even begin to look at their situation objectively. At this point, you just have to hope the Clips and Bucks stay healthy...or, of course, we look to be the real deal. I don't know if I can handle losing to LAL in the Finals at this point, though, not when they would tie our ring count.

This isn't meant at a dig, but a big part of lines like that is that he's basically playing SF for  the thunder this year. That's why his defensive rebounding is so much higher this year. Great job by him in shouldering that burden.

Drummond got benched for Christian Wood last night.

I think both sides are preparing for a trade.

Well, this article seems to make it sound like Drummond was benched for lack of effort too

He had 11/10 in about 22 minutes. We get that and even more from Kanter nowadays.

Fultz with a triple double tonight and the go-ahead bucket in the win over the Lakers.

Now that he's no longer with the 76ers, I'm rooting for the kid and hope he figures it out.

So if the playoffs started today, the C's would be the 3 seed and have the 6 seed Sixers in the 1st round (though I'd take them without Embiid).  Some pretty interesting match-ups in both conferences right now.  Should be an interesting last half of the season.

Current playoff match-ups
Milwaukee v. Brooklyn
Toronto v. Indiana
Boston v. Philadelphia
Miami v. Orlando

Los Angeles L v. Memphis (boo)
Utah v. Houston
Los Angeles C v. Dallas
Denver v. Oklahoma City

Some very intriguing match-ups.  Obviously a lot can change, but I think this years playoffs have the potential to be all time great, with every round producing captivating match-ups up and down the conference (not just 1 or 2 good ones and a bunch of crap).
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip
