  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
I was super intrigued to see how Smart would look starting in place of Kemba, because theoretically, the trio of the Jays/GH should've been enough offense to supplant the lineup, and inserting Smart would've led our defense becoming lethal. I also believed it was a nice mix of defense and offense. But....

Then I saw that Smart shot and bricked like 14 shots a game.

That was enough for me. 3 games was way too many. I cannot wait until Kemba comes back, goes ape !@#$, sprays like three three's to ice the game out... I don't get why Smart feels compelled to shoot so many shots... It's almost annoying.

Seems like our fellow friend LarBrd33 also felt the same way on Reddit lol.

But then I saw Smart bricking 14 shots a night.

Three games was enough. I'm ready for Kemba to come back.

Kinda cool giving Marcus Smart his own tribute day.  If the team had a captain, it should be be Smart.

Some stuff:

Jayson Tatum's TS% and APG by month
October 48.2% 2 APG
November 52% 2.6 APG
December 56.2% 3.3 APG

Jaylen Brown's shooting splits the last 12 games:

53.4/41.1/82...yes 82% from the line.

"We're doing good team, take those threes faster. We need more 3s! I don't want to see anyone even try to drive to the rim!"

"Yes, coach!"

Slow start AGAIN

CBS should change the starting lineup

too much 1 on 1 play.  Too many similar players on the court

nobody to set good picks.  Nobody runs around to make the D work

just players standing around

Good open looks. No one hitting. Gotta start going inside if these threes aren't going to go down.

It’s no longer a fad. Time to change the starting lineup.

He doesn't look right.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

So that's... four wide open three's? I'm gonna start skipping these first quarters if they coming out this poorly.
