I have read that John Beilein's college coaching style is wearing thing with some of the players on the Cavs in the Plains Dealer.  Go Celtics!
Yeah Windhorst addressed this in his latest podcast.

Sounds like the veterans other than Tristan are all pretty done with the coach. Specifically Kevin Love wants out and is tuning Beilein out entirely.

I read that too.  Beilein does things very different even with regards to many college coaches, and it rubbed a lot of kids the wrong way when he took over at schools too.  Even at college a lot of freshmen found themselves in his doghouse until they figured it out.  Once he gets his own players there, as opposed to holdovers, it’ll look different, but it’s going to be a long year in Cleveland.  Especially for the mediocre PGs on their roster who probably think they’re better players than they are, like Knight and Delly.  Beilein’s tolerance for mistakes from PGs is non-existent.

Yeah the Cavs look so listless that you feel bad if you don't blow them out at this point.

I never like these sort of games, my emotional state focuses on the downside too much.

I agree. This should be a complete blowout.

In an ideal world, the Celts should have this wrapped up by the end of the 3rd quarter so the starters can sit during the 4th, as there's a tough back to back coming up at Indiana and then back home vs Philly on Wed/Thurs.

Of course, you never want to let your guard down too much either.

Regardless of the record, these are all professional basketball clubs.

Per Twitters, Hayward is going through walkthroughs with the intent to play tonight.

Also, Smart is questionable/out with an eye infection.

Hopefully we can get a glimpse at what the whole puzzle looks like when completed for a bit.  Hayward should have as many assists and jumpers/drives from inside the key as he wants.  The trend towards layups gets me really excited.
Yup

Eye infections are awful.  Wouldn't wish that on my enemy.

This will provide a nice opportunity to lay eyes on potential Trade Target and NBA champion  Kevin Love.

With the way Smart plays he needs to wear some Kareem googles. He's always getting poked in the eye.

Trade target for some other team. Danny Ainge won't be trading for Kevin Love and the $100+ million still owed him. Not a chance of that happening

You know, someone really ought to bring those back. Kareem goggles, I mean, not eye infections.

I think no one wants to look foolish. Getting poked in the eye sucks though and it happens to Marcus a lot. I think it's the same reason some of these horrid free throw shooters refuse to try under hand free throws.

I don’t know if Smart really has an eye infection or this is more “load management” but I would not be opposed to just keeping him out and giving him the extra days off with a big back to back coming up this week. He hasn’t been right in a while with nagging injuries.

As for tonight, Cs should win but Cavs have bugs that normally give the Cs fits on the boards. Also, I think Cleveland comes out strong after getting drubbed by like a zillion points the other day.
