So...  between the overall lack of interest in the playoffs, and the devolution of discussion from thoughtful basketball analysis to random images.

Hasn't this been the status quo forever now?

It's much worse this year than it's ever been, at least from my perspective.

I'm not sure if it's that more teams have Co-GMs, or the gap between the haves and have nots, or what.  It just seems like of the eight playoff threads, there's maybe one where there's high-level discussion going on.

Food for thought, I guess.  The Walker Wiggle warned that this year was the one where the CB Draft was going to devolve into memes and one-liners, and unfortunately, he's being proven correct.  (This will make TWW happy, because the only thing he enjoys more than being right is being right in hindsight, so he can post I-told-you-sos.)

I really haven't noticed a difference, then again I usually am the one dropping one-liners and memes. I will say that although people may be lamenting the lack of "critical basketball analysis" and "lack of serious discussion", this year's draft has been the most drama free and generally enjoyable experience I've had of all the 4 I've participated in.

One other thing - I think it's victim of some poor timing. You've got a bunch of high volume posters either missing entirely, or in and out for varying work reasons.

Question for Jazz, how did Asik defend Aldridge during the regular season?

Question for Jazz, how did Gallinari do offensively against Gay?

Question for Jazz: Same kind, except Williams vs Lowry

Question for Lakers: You're tall, you're athletic, and you defend well, but can you crow?

By crow I mean shoot.

Trick question. TWW is always unhappy.

Rudy had an uncharecteristicly bad shooting year from downtown last year, other than that guys fairly solid. The last two seasons Lowry's really come on as a shooter. both Horford and lamarcus have respectable freethrow line shots. Delfino, Dahntay Jones both excellent shooters.

We understand that when you start Tony Allen everyone's gut reaction is " OMG No Jumpshooters", that's why we thought Delfino and Jones were critical, as well as having hope that Marshon develops some consistency. Also, FWIW, Dion Waitors was 36% from 3 last year at the 'Cuse. The potential is there, we're not hanging our hat on it though.
