I don't know if this video clip has been posted elsewhere, but wow, I was - dare I say - impressed with what Marbury had to say. He was gracious to the Knicks and humble about the prospect of coming to Boston. I know there will be plenty of cynics out there who won't buy it as being authentic - which is fine because everyone in life has to trust their own BS meter. I trust my BS meter over anyone else's and I'll tell you what, Marbury seemed genuine in that video to me.

I was already in the pro-Marbury camp - mostly because he was a low risk high reward proposition. But now, I almost want to root for the guy and see him win some sort of redemption both as a basketball player and a human being.

That video made him sound pretty authentic.  Hopefully he really is happy to play here.

Exactly, he's on the Celtics everyone who is a Celtics fan should support him. I for one hate Glen Davis as an individual player but I support him when he plays because he helps our eam.

After his performance tonight and the fact that he showed SOME humility - I support Stephon Marbury.

Since he's now in Celtic Green I'll support him.

If you think about it he's playing for his future in the NBA so I think he's going to do everything in his power to try to make this work. At the end of the year he's looking for is next contract so if he blows it here he might scare all teams away. So far so good. Looked pretty good expectally for not know the system and not playing in 8 months.
