CJ Miles, Tyler Johnson, Dragan Bender, Bogut, I'm not seeing any kind of real great add for the playoffs...

Yeah at this point I'm not expecting anything. 99% chance Thompson does not get bought out and he's the guy I would have wanted.

I actually think Marvin Williams would have been a terrific add and the C's may have considered it, but he chose the Bucks. Kemba did try to recruit him but it seemed like he chose the Bucks early

DeMarre Carroll is seeking a buy out but he's shooting a putrid 23% from 3, 60% FT, 31%FG, with a per of 5 this year in 15 games.

Any love for Bender? I mean, he's only 22 years old. If Thompson doesn't get bought out, I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Bender.

I guess the C's will try to avoid the tax next season in order to reset the repeater tax clock. Poirier has a 2-year contract, hence we'd probably cut Green.

He hasn't really been efficient since he played for the Hawks. Might be time for him to call it quits - he is 34 in July

So sign Bender so the team could possibly have 4 developmental centers on the roster instead of 3? Isn't Timelord, Poirier and Tacko enough developmental centers to have on the roster?

Besides, I honestly think Javonte Green is a better player than Bender and would provide more for this team this year and, in the future, though I don't see Green making the team in the future.

In all honesty, I only see one developmental Center: R. Williams.

I don't value Tacko. He's far too slow. Don't value Poirier either. If it weren't for his guaranteed contract, I would want us to cut him instead of Green.

Not to mention, Bender can play at the PF position as well.

I am interested in almost all of those players to some degree, but I only focused on the need.  The Celtics need a bench shooter who is not a defensive liability (ie IT4).

I selected:  Wayne Ellington, DeMare Carroll and Jamal Crawford.  I prefer Ellington like most do.

I have a feeling we are sticking with what we have.

Hopefully the Williams boys can play at a high level, everybody can stay healthy,  and Tatum and Brown can go to another level.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

ugh..missing out on all the vets
Neither of these players would be ahead of Semi or G Williams

Uncle Jeff killed us a couple years ago in the Eastern Conference Finals. I think he only plays well against the Celtics.

James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Jeff Green, Thabo Sefolosha. Find a way to bring back Serge Ibaka and get Kendrick Perkins to sign with Houston. They'll be known as the Houston Thunder.
