Washington's demand for Davis Bertans is two first-round picks, per league sources. Bertans will be an unrestricted free agent and the Wizards would like to re-sign him if they keep him. The Celtics one of multiple playoff teams with interest in acquiring Bertans.

It’s not just the picks, but in our case we’d have to dump 3 or even 4 bench guys to match salaries. Green + Poirier + Edwards probably, but is Ainge willing to dump Edwards already? Same thing with Bjelica as he makes around 6.8M

My hope is Saric, or hell, if someone like John Collins was truly available, go after him.

Saric would be a great get. Is there anything there or just speculation?

He could be available. Suns are selling, and he also only makes like 3M. Idk what the Suns plans are with him but Danny should definitely inquire. We haven't heard much rumors about him lately though, but we never heard about Woods (of Pistons) before today lol

No problem moving Green (he has been bad the last several games) or Poirer (who won't see the court once everyone gets healthy).

I personally would do Green, Poirier, Edwards plus Celtics and Bucks picks. Opens up 2 roster spots also.

I know he might be a one year rental, but maybe he stays. I don't believe the Celtics need 3 more picks next year anyway.

Losing Edwards might come back to bit them, but he seems like a streak shooter, who does get hot very often.

I would definitely send Semi, Green, the Memphis and Milwaukee picks to Atlanta for Collins. Or maybe Romeo and the Boston and Milwaukee picks.

Bring Collins off the bench as 6th man. He can replace Theis as a small ball five or Hayward or Tatum as the team's stretch 4.

Team could actually throw a very real two big lineup now with Theis/Collins or Kanter/Collins.

And hopefully Collins becomes a great rim runner for Marcus Smart on some of the non all starter lineups and that he is taking a bunch of shots Smart is taking.

Moving the picks is not an issue. This draft is weak. Boston has too many young guys as it is. Bertans..roll the dice and see if he stays.

Collins would be really nice.
