2 yr deal http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/54690/20081003/heat_sign_livingston_to_a_two_year_contract/

Great move imo. Consider it a low risk/very high reward move for NEXT year

Agreed solid move by the Heat, if he can stay healthy and get in a rhythm could end up being great signing.

If they could bring back Mourning and maybe pick up a bench player like Bonzi Wells, then I could seen Miami being a good team this year or next.
Can't stop, Rondo!

Based on his signing demands, it appears that Miami offered him at least a  guaranteed 2 year contract. If the demands were not excessive, I would have preferred him sitting at the end of the Celtic bench during rehab instead of waiting for Gabe Pruitt's development.  In Livingston we have a true NBA talent but one who appears injury prone and Pollard has already demonstrated that all that glitters is not necessarily golden! Another low risk-high reward project.

Very good move by Miami. I like Livingston and hope he does well, he could be a steal for the Heat if he fully recovers.
