I also wasn't a fan of Shaq here or Marbury. I just didn't like those moves. We had Perk and Tony Allen and Posey and instead decided to make those kind of moves to put players around Pierce, Ray and KG.
Couldn't stand Mark Blount. Never had an issue with Rasheed for some reason. Doesn't make sense.
But even Ainge had taken some time to get back to the celtics way of doing things.
I guess what I'm saying is I hope the celtics stay patient and not have an agenda towards certain players and trust our own brains on why we draft guys and liked them in the first place. Nothing is 100 percent and better moves can be made though.
Red was always a master at drafting and picking his spots where to make those moves. But loved his players and had their best interests in mind.
DA has been pretty good at trading guys to good situations and doing that and wanting players to be accountable as well. I wonder about the accountability part sometimes. He is sometimes too patient but he's developing players slowly and it takes time. Some of these players coming in need to learn how to shoot and everything in between.
We lack that tom brady type of player though who is really accountable. Brady just had that in him from the get go and could back it up.
