Now that Kawhi left maybe he's expendable as they are likely rebuilding. Can we get him? Is it too late to work out a sign & trade with Brooklyn or Philly to get a large TPE to absorb him? My guess is yes, but a guy can dream...

Philly and Brooklyn aren't going to help us.

Gasol picked up his player option and is due to earn $25.6m this year. I think that takes him out of range for us. If Toronto moves him they are going to want more than a salary match; they’ll want assets they can use to rebuild.

Smart move by Gasol...he has a title and gets his $ too.

Ibaka is the better target imo.

I think Gasol could be revisited next year when he's up for a new deal.

Something that would help is that similar to Kemba, we've shown how someone with Gasol's skillset had success here. Always that Horford and Gasol were cut from a similar cloth with the defense, passing, and long range shooting.

Maybe next Summer Gasol would accept a more reasonable deal -$16-20 million-ish- to come play with Kemba and Tatum.

Rozier works.

Oh wait. Never mind.

Very curious what Ujiri does now. If he convinces clippers to do a sign and trade raptors can probably get Iguodala and crowder and maybe sign bradly for the MLE.
That will put them right back in the mix for the east with their options open to strike for a star that wants out
