Robert Williams as a sleeper pick for the Celtics?

Trading Rozier and the #27 pick should easily get us back to the #12-15 range.

A 6'9 PF/C with a 7'6 wingspan could become a mighty good rim protector.  And he could probably switch better than most 7 footers because of his athleticism.

I don't hate this idea at all. I love Rozier, but good point guards are a dime a dozen.

Also, to those people talking the Grayson Allen/DiVicenzo argument: most mocks have Grayson falling well out of the first round now, and Donte (after a v strong combine) is climbing boards everywhere.

Yes.  DeAnthony Melton.  Not a fan given they have two guys I want more at 28 and 29 (Okogie and Bates-Diop).

That isn't true, really at all. Allen is going in the first round according to sportingnews.com, Washington Post, Bleacher Report, USA Today, CBS Sports, The Ringer, SBNation, Sports Illustrated, nbadraftnet, and more. Those are all fairly reputable mocks

I floated this yesterday, didn't get much play:

"Rozier, our 27, and the Clippers pick for 16 (and salary) and go get Robert Williams."

I don't believe the Clippers pick will ever be a 1st since these are the restrictions on it:

"The Celtics will get the L.A. Clippers first round pick in 2019 only if it's is No. 15 or later (1 to 14 are protected). If Celtics don't get the pick, it reverts to 2020 under same restrictions, from pick No. 15 and later. If the Celtics don't get that Clippers pick in 2020, they will receive the Clippers 2022 second round pick."
