Barkley speaking the truth!! Its a travesty and its petty jealousy that Stevens didnt get a vote for coach of the year. Tell em Charles!!!

I really don't understand the love for Casey. He seems like a good coach, but Stevens took the Cs to the No. 2 seed in the conference WITHOUT GORDON HAYWARD AND WITH KYRIE IRVING MISSING A LOT OF TIME. Not to mention the time lost for Smart and Theis. So Toronto got the 1 seed ... big deal. Everyone knew they were gonna choke against LeBron. And TORONTO WASN'T MISSING ANY KEY PLAYERS FOR BIG STRETCHES.

Just don't get it.
Irving played 60 games, and this team without Hayward is about as strong as last year's team, talent-wise.
He still had to deal with enormous roster turnover and considerable injuries to other guys (Smart, Morris and Theis)
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

Yep. Brad is better and it isn't even close.

C's roleplayers and young guys have been HUGE for us in crunch time.

Raps roleplayers - and veterans - crapped their pants at the first sign of real trouble.

When the Cavs hit them in the mouth they could have responded and hit back, harder. Instead they folded up. We learned plenty about both the coach and organization in that second round series against the Cavs.

#1 Raptors had difficulties putting the #8 Wizards away should be telling.

Why we won 4-1:

Sixers were outscored by -63 points with Ben Simmons on court over the five games against #Celtics.

Not a rookie ! 😁😁

That is a staggering stat. TBH though I was glad whenever Simmons came back into the game. That should tell you something.

Maybe, but Stevens still faced more hurdles than Casey.
For most of the year, Stevens had a roster that strongly resembled last year's roster, and was in line to finish with a record that strongly resembled last year's. Just because we lost Hayward in game 1 doesn't mean we weren't talented enough to come in second in the East.

The 76ers should have listened to me when I said they should have dropped the confetti after game 4.  Might as well celebrate your final home game of the season.

Celtics are now 4 wins away from the NBA Finals and are going up against a very beatable Cavaliers’ team. It is just unprecedented, in the NBA, for a team to do this with their two best players playing a combined 60 games during the regular season and with both guys missing the entire playoffs. Brad Stevens deserves a lot of credit and he should have won the Coach of the Year award, but let us not forget to mention Danny Ainge and the job he did building this roster with some really gutsy and shrewd moves.

It’s a good time to be a Celtics fan, now and for years to come.

We had difficulties putting away #7 Bucks, so...

The Bucks caught the C's by surprise with Greek Freak and Middleton going on fire.
