Now I'm just waiting for Embiid to do a Giannis and Beal "We thought we were the better team" routine tomorrow morning.

The better team won.

Barkley speaking the truth!! Its a travesty and its petty jealousy that Stevens didnt get a vote for coach of the year. Tell em Charles!!!

I really don't understand the love for Casey. He seems like a good coach, but Stevens took the Cs to the No. 2 seed in the conference WITHOUT GORDON HAYWARD AND WITH KYRIE IRVING MISSING A LOT OF TIME. Not to mention the time lost for Smart and Theis. So Toronto got the 1 seed ... big deal. Everyone knew they were gonna choke against LeBron. And TORONTO WASN'T MISSING ANY KEY PLAYERS FOR BIG STRETCHES.

Just don't get it.

Next series is totally up to NBA .....let them play and Celtics win.....protect Lebrenda and Celtics will still do a stellar job.

HOUSE MONEY

SO TRUE

but this was nuts

smart almlst costs us with ****ty free throws missed

we are lucky ohilly had no timeouts left abd had to go full courft

Brad still had time outs at the end!

For what?  To give them time to throw the ball down court and maybe get a decent 3 shot before the clock runs out?

No, the 76'rs had to get the rebound starting the clock, turn and look down court to find somebody, ANYBODY, with less than 2 left to make the pass AND the shooter catch it just to attempt a 3.

Unlike Philly. If Philly still had time outs it would've been scary at the end.

But they didn't so no sense belaboring idle speculation.

Smart knew it and "forced" the throw and playing like a free safety got the INT.  Can you imagine him in the NFL taking out guys like Gronk as a SS.  Or at OLB/Stand up DE coming on a blitz yet easily able to get back in coverage the instant it turns into a pass play.

He has those instincts and more (see above).

I don't expect this depleted team to beat leroid and the refs. However, if they shoot the 3 well they'll have a chance.
Still don't believe in Joe.

Bill Simmons tweet: 'My fav moment of that game was Smart yelling at Stevens to keep him on Saric at the end right before that key turnover. “I GOT THIS!” He was screaming. Then after - “I TOLD YOU!” I f------ love that guy.'

This is why you need to re-sign him.

That's what I said before the Philly series. I guess I should take that attitude now, as well ... but dang, I can't help thinking Boston can make this a tough series for Cleveland!

Now that I'm (just) a little bit more relax, I cannot believe the wide open three JJ Redick missed.
