Did the East get good or something or is this just early season flukes?

Western Conference only has 7 teams above .500.  8-8 Jazz are 7th seed.  The 8-10 Suns and 8-10 Wolves are in the 8th/9th slots.

Eastern Conference has 10 teams above .500.  The 10-8 Magic and 10-8 Celtics are tied for the 8th seed.  The 9-9 Pistons are in the 10th slot.  Then there's also the Wizards, Knicks, Bucks and Nets that can all threaten for a playoff slot this year.

Lakers might actually win one... Kobe is semi-vintage with 31 points ... made the last 5 points... 10-24 shooting still aint great.

Julius Randle has 15 points and 19 rebounds, 2 steals.  Kid can play.

Julius Randle has 14 points and 18 rebounds.  Kid can play.

How about that.  LA wins.

Whoops.  Of course -- not over yet.  3-pointer by Wall.  Over now.   LA wins their 3rd.

I thought Smart would keep the lead in the Smart vs Randle debate for the rest of the season... we're like 12 games in and I think Randle might be close to surpassing him as an asset.

Those are the numbers Sully was putting up against the Wiz the last two games.  The Wiz just struggle vs fat power forwards

Are people going to bring Smart vs Randle every time Randle has a good game?

Larbrd is just prone to confirmation bias.

Has always believed Randle will be better than Smart. 12 games into the season, acts surprised he still feels so.

Gasol is way more skilled then Randle, you might as well compare Smart to Gary Payton.

20-0 for Golden State now. 20 wins in a row is amazing.

The guy just had 15 and 19 tonight, esp in his second year.

Technically it's first year but unforunately he got hurt, but Pau and Randle games are vastly different from each other.

What do you expect he becomes?  Quicker/more explosive Zach Randolph with better vision?
