If I recall when he had his previous one, his weight was starting to get up there and he subsequently lost quite a bit of weight.  What's scary is this guy was a superb athlete not all that long ago and he's not very old.  I wonder whether this will have him think about possibly reducing his involvement or stepping aside completely.

I wish Danny well and a full recovery. Take your time, sir. You have great people in that office that can get things done during this time of the year. Just get better.

Then, when healthy again, whatever he decides to do for this club, that is in the best interest for him and his family, he should do. Whether that's to come back full time, or give up the Basketball Operations Management and take a step into a more advisory President role, leave to spend time with family or something in between, it's all good by me.

You're right. I didn't know it was his 2nd time, I remember a few years ago they talked about the stress of maintaining Celtics as a GM, and Ainge said in the interview that he wouldn't leave the Celtics until the day he died.

I do hope Ainge takes 100% more precautionary measures.
