2013 CB Draft : Draft Thread : VOTING ENDS 8:00PM EST TONIGHT

I have never seen as much parity in this game at the end of the drafting as I have seen this year. I feel that is a good thing and will make things interesting for the voting phase and put a tremendous emphasis on match ups during the playoffs.

I also think it should hold voters attention deeper into the playoffs, but we will see.

when does voting start?

Next Friday for the regular season. The week following for playoffs. With the pressers still to go and a holiday Monday, it was the fastest it was going to be able to happen.

I've begun the habit of "saving" my draft teams by making them in 2K. Air and I played against each other with our Pick 2 teams. That was a good time.

Pretty awesome having a fellow CB member as a roommate. Somebody who can understand your obsession. Most people in my life just look at me as some crazy deranged basketball fan (they're probably right).

Yes, we are. He joined CB when he saw an opening in the pick 2 draft and after I had been talking about it for a few days. We've been co-GMs ever since. Although I do 90% of the work

It is pretty awesome. And it's actually three of us that are this obsessed with basketball. The third is studying abroad this fall and doesn't have a CB account (yet).

I mean, sure when I was a teenager I played plenty of video games too.

I'll give it up to today's sports games (from what I've seen), but nothing can beat games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Zelda, Final Fantasy, etc..  Still don't think there was ever a better game than the original NBA Jam.
