It’s so much easier to read it they way Greece does it.  I appreciate his dedication.

That goes against earlier reports he would test the market. Must've seen sense!

Actually, when quoting from an outside source, it is the rule of Celticsblog to show a link from the site you are quoting from. From the rules:

Quote
When quoting from material that is not made freely available (i.e., ESPN.com "Insider" content, etc.), do not quote the entirety of the material.  Posting brief snippets and summaries of the material is appropriate; posting lengthy quotations is not.  Please post a link whenever citing to online material, whether insider content or otherwise.

This is good news for the Celtics keeping Smart.  If Jordan had opted in, there would have been a trade between Dallas and Clippers, with Matthews’ salary going back to LA.  Now that they’ll have to sign him the old fashioned way, they won’t have the cap room to go after Smart.  That takes ones of the three major competitors off the board, leaving Indiana and Phoenix.

for Indy..with thad young opting in, and IF they offer Aaron Gordon 20mil per year as has been "reported" as likely.  what would they have left to offer Smart?

Nothing initially, but I think there’s a good chance Orlando matches, which would open that space back up.

According to Sports Center, DeAndre Jordan has verbally agreed on a one-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks.

Funny how he goes back to the team he was originally traded to a few years ago. No CP3, PP34, Blake Griffin, and Doc Rivers to hold him hostage now!

I like what the Mavs are doing.  Doncic, Jordan, Brunson and Noel were all solid moves.
